Trican Auto Sales is new to the industry, but the people behind the scenes are not.
Our Sales Team:
Also behind the scenes at Trican Auto Sales is our sales manager Wesley. Like Jay, he also has many years in the automotive industry and has a passion for cars. Owner of a Subaru STI Tuned and Volkswagen Golf GTI Tuned you can tell he likes his cars a bit faster. Wesley started out selling cars when he was younger working at other dealerships. Gaining the experience over the years and learning from brand name dealers, he took his knowledge and moved over to Trican Auto Sales helping Jay expand. Together they work hard selling cars and updating new inventory on a daily basis.
“I remember when I was younger I was always surrounded by nice cars. One day my uncle took me to the track for the first time. It was such a crazy experience for me I couldn’t wait to start driving. I always had a passion cars but I also enjoy selling them to others. Nothing beats that feeling of getting a new upgrade especially if it’s a sports car.” -Wesley
Proud owner of a Volkswagen GTI, our wholesale coordinator Yilong has a special passion towards german vehicles, especially vintage cars. Working in Trican is not just a job for him, but more a start of a career.
"I remember the night before picking up my car, I couldn't sleep for the whole night and I went to the dealership as soon as it opened. It was such a one of a lifetime experience that I can never forget. I want to make sure everyone else can also be as excited as I was when they come to pick their vehicle." - Yilong"
Our Sales Support Team:
Nancy entered the automotive industry right after her graduation from Beedie School of Business. She is one of the girls that are into cars and the car world. Proud owner of a 2019 Audi S5 and a tuned Range Rover Sport, she loves fast cars but also loves the open highway. Learning the business side of the automotive industry along with a marketing major in SFU, Nancy is leading a small team helping out with several companies with talent development, operational priorities, and marketing. Currently, she is enhancing her social media marketing skills at BCIT as a part-time student.
“Growing up I remember my father spotting out nice cars and naming them. I couldn’t tell cars apart yet but I really wanted to. After getting into high school, I remember every night I quizzed myself on the makes and models of car pictures. I always had a thing for cars and then one day I finally got my own. The first time I drove my S5 off the lot was amazing. Now I get to help give that same feeling to others.” – Nancy
As a child, Jose was inclined to how many things work, especially with machines like cars. Knowing Jose's interest in the mechanics, Jose's dad often left him alone working on the Toyota pickup truck his family had back in the day and Jose would work from dawn to dush with no intension of stopping until he figures out how something works or has fixed the problem. He is now our #1 go-to person when we have any problem with our vehicles.
"I studied for 3 years in an automotive program back in the Philippines and I continued my study here in BC to add on to what I've already learned. The joy of learning new techniques and skills on how the mechanics behind cars work and how to fix them is endless." - Jose
